Sustainable living outside the city in a personal refuge of small dimensions is the dream of many today. Isolated from the chaotic life of the big city and immersed into as much wilderness the modern being can handle is an option, an option that brakes the shackles and frees the mind, powerful reasons to be sought out and day dreamed by thousands.

A project entitled the “Primeval symbiosis” interprets this common dream into a beautiful shape. Envisioned whilst being a student, Konrad Wójcik, the concept recalls the silhouette of a conifer tree, beautifully infused into a forest the concept home is mounted on one pole, harvesting the natural light through solar panels. In the design a heat pump has been introduced to harvest energy from soil while the waste is being managed through a biodegester.

The home aims to have absolutely no impact on the environment but to serve as a small personal refugee, beautiful, balanced, in perfect harmony with the surroundings.
