A few days while researching for a project, we have found an outstanding collection of interiors and it gets better: Eclectic interiors with vintage elements working as accents all designed by Timothy Oulton. We had to make this better known, they are too great.
Not even one of these interiors is simpler or less special then the others, all are empowered by a certain theme according to the designer. The designer states that most of the interior designs were inspired by a culture in the 1950s in America called the “Beat” culture, in which writers along with creative-types of people were challenging each other in non-conformity.
While searching trough the photos you are supposed to discover ” a nostalgic tribute to the romantic era of luxurious sea voyages” , in different objects, each telling a story, dismantling an era, assembling scenarios and memories. Vintage trunks along with upholstery pieces and travel memorabilia and many others all having unique stories to tell, ready to be read.
Some of the interiors presented further on are inspired and dedicated to classic English sports such as tennis, rugby and sailing in which the designer mean to remember ” the class and refinement that once defined the world of sports”.
You can`t imagine how thrilled we are about these epic designs, the great array of details, all being proof of a remarkable design portfolio of the artist. We encourage these designs which are rarely found; they are like a breath of air after a lot of helium. Not that we do not enjoy helium.
