Imagine flower pots, tables, small vertical gardens, benches and even canopies realized out of beautiful simple wooden pallets all covered in beautiful plants and flowers. All of them can become a part of your backyard landscaping. All you have to is to learn how to use a simple pallet in your project and start recycling wooden pallets with every opportunity.
The zero/first step would be throwing a look at our first article regarding wooden pallets and how you should recycle them creatively, afterwards you can take it to the next step, integrating them in the exterior.Wooden pallets are really easy to assemble and they’ve proved their role many times in recycle projects being really functional if manipulated correctly.
The first/second step would be obviously to find a pallet, you can talk to a supermarket or a construction shop, pallets are used in the transport of thousands of products, most shops throwing them away after the download, few of them are recycling the pallets and we are really happy just to say this, either way, the point is that you have a good chance to get one for free at a local shop.
After you`ve dragged the pallet, hopefully pallets, home, start preparing them for your project. Depending on what you have in mind you might need to nail down or loose boards, to use sand paper here and there to smooth down rough edges and so on. For a pallet garden you should leave spaces between slats and the top uncovered if you plan to plant flowers in the pallet. After you`ve decided which represents the back of the small pallet garden shut it closed, fill it with earth and plants and wait. You should place it from the very beginning in the position in which you`ve envisioned it to naturally encourage a healthy and normal development; of the roots and flowers per ensemble.
We invite you to take a look at the ideas that we find inspiring for the recycle of wooden pallets and get in touch with us with your own ideas or status of the project. Stay green! Recycle!
