Envisioned by architecture practice Carvalho Araújo the mesmerizing concrete retreat that follows emphasized the lush landscape of Caniçada Valley in Portugal through a subtle and elegant silhouette nestled in the hills.
In the composition concrete, glass and wood have been balanced perfectly. The large interior spaces have been oriented towards beautiful expansive views over the surrounding nature with which the home communicates through an expansive terrace. The design encapsulates a level of discipline, of purity .

“The new construction relates with the land in a very spontaneous way, taking advantage of its steep slope, of the small stream and of the privileged view over the landscape.”
