In Le Marais, the historic Paris district a charming attic apartment sculpts freshness and tradition into a contemporary interior design by balancing rustic and modern in an airy space, one flooded by light that uses neutral colors and raw materials.

It has has been entitled Apartment Saint Paul by its creator, Margaux Beja, she created contrast with glass walls and steel to separate the living from a bright bedroom. An elegant incorporated shelf in a stark white wall sculpts the living`s horizontal perception thus emphasizing the feeling of space.

A “technical wall” was used to hide the bathroom and laundry area through walnut panels that add warmth in supreme elegance with a touch of industrial expression in the living space. Black accents on contemporary furnishings sculpt space through contrast while wooden surfaces and neutral tones provide the coziness needed without challenging the building`s architecture.
