Wood has always been a primary choice when it comes to furniture and its elegance is highly acknowledged. Carved wood has its beauty but why not take it a little bit further? Ukrainian designer Yaroslav Galant has discovered a method of burning wood and thus obtaining a highly aesthetics effect of his furniture designs, whilst maintaining its core undamaged and solid. “2014 Furniture Design border is charred at temperature about 2000°F. The short-term influence of high warmth carbonizes exterior with proper hue and texture, while the wood center still remains undamaged. The products is then impregnated with a exceptional substance epioftonol patented by Yaroslav Galant and the surface is varnished, giving it and interesting antique aspect that amazes by color and especially by its texture.
“Born 2B Burn” is quite a controversial collection which brings together to antagonistic elements wood and fire and merges them into one singular creation with eclectic aesthetics values.
