West London is known to hide incredible architectural treasures and possibilities under which seem like typical British homes. Jonathan Tuckey Design has taken advantage of such a house and renovated a two-story home around its beautiful timber framework and brick walls which have been left exposed in certain places, accentuating the wooden furniture added to preserve the cozy warm atmosphere of the home.
Several skylights have been added to the old home to provide the necessary light for the newly created spaces while wood has been chosen as the key finishing in most rooms to add coziness and a classical elegance.
The entire wooden structure has been kept exposed and transformed into a work of art.
A modern twist has been added to the home through the steel staircase wall in a dark tone that contrasts powerfully with the natural hues of wood.
