On April 15th, 2019 the world held witnessed the a legendary architectural icon, the Notre-Dame, engulfed in flames.
A few hours later the centuries-old cathedral was secured but it was left severely damaged. The question on everyone’s mind, what happens now ? This question sparked a debate that was heated and emotional but extraordinarily important for the world heritage.
GoArchitect organized a democratic design competition to celebrate this debate and over 200 designers from 56 countries submitted designs. In July, over 30,000 people signed up and voted for their favorite designs.
