The following DIY idea is one simple enough even your children could accomplish with an end result very beautiful and practical as well. Today we are taking about glitter bowls, shiny, beautiful, easy to make DIY glitter bowls. when you think of glitter, the first thing that comes to mind is its shiny, shimmering, reflecting light characteristics. Secondly, the shape it comes in, the hard to wash, difficult to get off form that can’t actually be associated in your mind with a physical composed 3D object. But, at it turns out, you can make literally anything today, so follow these easy 5 steps to complete your very one DIY Glitter bowl using a few cheap, easy to find elements.
Materials that you need:
Glitter (you can buy small bottles from Art Friend for about $2+)
Mod Podge Glue (Matt )
A container to mix
A sponge brush
Balloons any size
A mug or something hold your balloon upside down

Step 1
Buy balloons, in a round shape and in any size, blow them up, or better, let your little ones do i for you, they will enjoy it, and place them in some plastic bowls.
Step 2
Mix in a bowl tons and tons of glitter and Modge Podge, the really thick one. The quantities depend on the desired bowl and its size but keep in mind that you should have a very thick layer in order for the bowl to resist and keep its shape in time.
Step 3
Press the top of the balloon onto the stirred clay then turn it around and place it in the bowl and start adding layers of glitterd glue until you consider its thick enough.
Step 4
Let it dry over night, at least 24 hours, until the glue apiarist completely and all that you can see is shiny glitter.You cna try the same method using confetti instead of glitter.
Step 5
After it is completely dried up, cut the base of the balloon or let your kids pop it and voila you have yourslef a beautiful glitter bowl. Set it on flat surfaces to make sure it keep its shape in time.

You can use any glitter color you want or mix multiple in the bowl for a mesmerizing effect. The bowl below used golden and green-turquoise glitter for its making.
