A Home Spa is definitely not a concept often heard in a trivial conversation yet here today we are going to present you one: an extension of the regular home meant to serve relaxing and rejuvenating purposes at any given time, serving privacy and tranquility to the owners enjoying their whirlpool, sauna and tepidarium in absolutely any weather.
The establishment is nestled in Bratislava, Slovakia and has been envisioned by architekti.sk as a natural extension of the already present Neo-Baroque villa in which the owners are currently living. This home spa serves as a retreat, as a sanctuary, a space dedicated to supreme relaxation and calm.
“The key idea of our project was to create a “relaxing & chill-out spot” with 3 parking places, situated in a hilly garden behind the client’s family historical residence.”
The two houses are basically sharing the same garage that has been designed for a minimum of three cars. The green roof above cooperates with the garden and the surroundings ensuring a intimate setup that is really hard to find these days in a capital city.
The first floor has been dedicated to the relaxing zone composed out of a wellness with a pool, whirlpool, a sauna and a tepidarium. Everything is interlinked with the surroundings trough greenery and gauge design lines that are highlighting the thought process.
Moreover to ensure the functionality of the two spaces and the common garage proper usage the villa and the home spare are interconnected. What do you think of this concept overall? Most of us would rather have their swimming pool in the open air, in a serene backyard landscaping, but what do you think?
