gokujo no heya” -know in English as “Superlative Space” room is a unique installation that brings the garden into the house, into the bathroom, or vice-versa. This unique bathroom concept is designed by Naruse-Inokuma Architects in collaboration with a botanical artist entitled Makoto Azuma and it was originally created for the HOUSE VISION 2013 hosted by Tokyo. In this very unique combination the contrasts are staggering , from the difference of texture, to the chromatic ones, up to the feeling of intimacy, exposed in an outside semi-private establishment , semi-private considering the noise, and depending where is settled, considering the natural light above your head, that would make you feel exposed to the aerial views.
The latter has been furnished by Otto, which along with the well known window maker YPP AP, sponsored this marvelous project, thing for which we would very much like to thank them, the room presented in the exhibition is one of the nine rooms that are taking part in 1:1 mock up house, meant to amaze.
