Presented during the Milan design week , the table exhibits a beautiful fluid shape that seems to be pouring into the floor through the legs. Zaha Hadid has achieved to transmit a certain uncertainty through this design in the way that the senses seem to fool you for an instant when you look at the table, almost expecting it to splash around in a second.

The ripples the liquid forms when moving give the viewer an impulse to first move or act in some way to the sight of it and then just silently admire the chaotic yet perfect way this piece of luxurious design was created. It simulates movement, stillness, calm , nature, essence , appearance and the list can continue and all this cascade of impressions hit the viewer simultaneously. An amazing work of art created to impress and inspire. Maybe something expected from Zaha Hadid, but certainly a masterpiece.

Homesthetics conclusion

The liquid/solid antithesis that is the essence of the beauty of this design is simply stunning and inspiring at the same time. Liquid Glacial Tables by Zaha Hadid for David Gill Galleries Liquid Glacial Tables by Zaha Hadid for David Gill Galleries
