Entitled Mandeville Canyon Residence, the modern mansion ahead strikes the visitor with an overwhelming quantity of information dressed in fine architecture. The “small” site of this marvelous building is located in Madeville Canyon, a rather small community right in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, being surrounded by Mulholland Drive and Sunset Boulevard.
The home is developed in a site surrounded by forest and vegetation, providing the mansion great intimacy and visual comfort. Further on the modern mansions emphasizes the site and environment by using regional materials, gaining sustainable values. The main structure of our dream home is realized out of rock and concrete, being completed in a great contemporary style, with high end glass and wood.
In the interior design the contemporary style is emphasized using a flow of exposed concrete surfaces; such a cold, raw and sterile atmosphere is materialized here only because the multitude of warm wood textures are counterbalancing the smooth cold surfaces.
The design of our luxurious modern mansion took no less then four years, including everything, from custom made furniture to backyard landscaping and experimental furniture. The entire dream, home, is an extraordinary statement for the natural, organic and sustainable materials, it is a proof that sustainable materials can easily create dreams.
We would personally like to congratulate Rockefeller Partners Architects for creating such an amazing piece of architecture and we would love to hear your opinion about it.
