The minimalist design of a single item is most of the time easy to integrate in a bigger ensemble and here is where Mini Me comes in. After his vision in collaboration with spHaus was destroyed, the manufacturer that was producing Mini Me since 2006, this year the designer had no other option then trying his own way in manufacturing the product.
Filip Gordon Frank is the hand, brain and heart of his own brand founded this year. After trying to cooperate with different producers in the country and abroad, this product designer decided to manage the life cycle (and the destiny) of his prototypes and products by himself.
The object was meant to become an icon, a light minimalist and contemporary light object that would spread worldwide and now can be achieved trough Polymorh that now produces the Mini Me Lamp in no less the 9 bold colors along with the Croatian light manufacturer Dekor Zabok. The great thing about this new partnership is that the lamp price has been reduced to half.
The lamp is now entirely made in Croatia and can be ordered Filip Gordon Frank directly.
A lamp realized from just 8 folds of a circular tube and a small halogen light. Good enough for us , just imagine how hard you get annoyed when you are burned by the metal heated by the usual light bulbs. All this has been prevented with the halogen bulb and along with this the price reduced again. Innovative, small, efficient and original.
