Did you know air indoors is more harmful than the air outside?
The sneaky culprits are all around you – and you might have never known. Something as regular as a bottle of deodorant or an inkjet printer may be producing pollutants that can affect air quality.
With respiratory diseases undoubtedly becoming a leading and grave concern all over the world, more and more people are fighting for clean air.
Lucky for us, technology has given us one of the most convenient ways to clean the air that we breathe. And, even better, it’s easily accessible, economical and efficient. Promising to help you breathe easier is this sleek and portable air purifier from the well-established brand Pure Enrichment.
We believe Pure Enrichment PureZone 3-in-1 has what it takes to be your next air-purifying home essential. But the all-important question is whether it will convince you.

Why Buy This Product?
Not all air purifiers are built the same. There are a few standards that must be met to deem them useful and effective.
The Pure Enrichment PureZone 3-in-1 ticks some of our boxes, although it may leave us wanting for more in other areas. Wherever it does meet our expectations, it goes beyond and exceeds them. Here are some of the ways that this home essential brings home pure air and enrichment…
Lightweight and Portable
At first glance, you will know that portability will not be a problem. This air-purifier is compact, sleek, and lightweight. It can be conveniently carried from room-to-room by its built-in handles. Since it won’t take up much space in the house, you can add this as an advantage, especially, if you live in smaller quarters.
Once the air purifier gets to work, you realize what makes it a cut above the rest. In terms of noise control, it outstrips others in its price range. As you will notice with every feature, this compact air purifier is best suited for small homes.
We bet having this nearly noiseless machine around will be a blessing when all your appliances and living space are close together. After all, how easy could it be to focus on other jobs, watch the television, have conversations, and sleep – all with a buzzing in your ear?
3-in-1 Filtration Feature
It’s an ingenious idea to bring different air filters together so they may simultaneously target different types of pollutants. The Pure Enrichment PureZone 3-in-1 combines the power of a pre-filter, a True HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter.
The pre-filter blocks larger particles and allergens like pet hair and dust. The remaining pollutants, which may consist of fine dust, pollen, and smoke, get trapped in the True HEPA filter. True HEPA-certified means that not even airborne particulates as tiny as 0.3 microns can escape.
To top it all off, the activated carbon gets rid of harmful gases emitted by common household items. Formaldehyde given out by wooden and resin furniture is a common problem in most homes – and this is great for tackling it.
True HEPA filters along with an optional UV-C light work to completely sanitize and disinfect the surroundings. The UV-C light utilizes ultraviolet radiation to kill microorganisms such as germs, viruses, bacteria, and fungi. Ultraviolet radiation gets flack for producing ozone, but Pure Enrichment promises that their machine has it all under control.
To calculate the lifetime cost, we take into account the cost of maintenance in addition to the market price. As a product, the PureZone 3-in-1 falls in the budget range – online merchants may even sell it for slashed prices and better deals.
This economic machine is low-maintenance – the filters can simply be washed under running water, and they don’t need frequent replacing. If the need does arise, replacements are relatively cheap. Combined with efficient energy usage, it certainly gives great value for money in the long run.
This air purifier works hard, no doubt. At the same time, the energy consumption is far lesser than its counterparts – which means a lower electricity bill. What’s even handier is the automatic off-timer which keeps your kilowatts per hour down. The machine turns itself off after a preset time, so no more worrying about whether you turned off the appliance.
Three fan speeds are available to check the air quality in the room. This feature has to be manually controlled by users who may have to eyeball the filtering requirement at the time.
For regular use, level 1 would be sufficient. In case of cigarette smoke or strong odors, don’t hesitate to crank it up to level 3.
It’s a great time to be alive. Technology makes it possible to even suck in bad odors along with pathogens and bacteria!
Airborne molecules are tiny and cannot be filtered out like dust. Activated carbon filters then act as a sponge to attract and absorb the unwanted smells. Pet parents (and regular parents) can now breathe a sigh of relief – and we mean it literally. It is worth mentioning that not all air purifiers are equipped with this particular feature to supplement their regular filters.
Props to the designers for their thoroughness and attention to detail when it comes to noise and energy consumption. Although the decibel level on this air purifier was already low enough, activating the sleep mode will fine-tune it for a good night’s sleep.
Once the fan speed is reduced and the lights are dimmed – you might even forget you have an air purifier in the first place! We usually look for and favor automatic sleep modes, so this one clearly meets the brief.
Ease of Use
Don’t let this long list overwhelm you; this air purifier is as straightforward as one can get. Easy setup and filter removal aside, the four touch buttons on the roof of the machine make up your entire control panel.
What Could’ve Been Better?
Pure Enrichment PureZone 3-in-1 has all the makings of a great air purifier for small spaces. Problems arise when it is moved to bigger rooms with an area of more than 100 to 150 sq. ft. Although the manufacturers have claimed that it has a coverage area of 200 sq. ft., our findings suggest that air cleaning performance begins to drop and struggle well below the coverage area.
A slash in the price also means users have to do without certain special features such as automatic fan speed controllers. Another cause for this is the absence of in-built sensors that check the air quality to automatically set the fan speed. However, with the price you pay for the long list of benefits, asking for more might be asking too much.
PureZone 3-In-1 Buyers’ Guide
If you’ve made it through our review, you already know what to expect.
Compatibility with the user sometimes trumps what the product can offer. While some prefer the PureZone 3-in-1 for being as quiet as a mouse, others don’t mind the whirring white-noise if they can get good coverage.
Weigh your options and use these reference points to make sure this product is the one for you.
True HEPA Certification
HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air (Filter) – a common standard of certification for air filters. Although it is looked upon with some scrutiny, it is the generally accepted yardstick for efficiency and air cleaning abilities.
HEPA type filters and True HEPA type filters (keep in mind that one has the all-important prefix “True”) are both believed to be adequate for clearing the air of larger allergens. Purifiers with a “True HEPA” label fare better in blocking out smaller air particulates. Pure Enrichment PureZone 3-in-1 is certified-True HEPA, which means it’s a safe option for those with allergies and serious sensitivities.
The product in question today is a nifty and compact number that complements smaller rooms in more ways than one. The capacity and coverage of air filters are measured by their Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR). To test its CADR, an air purifier is allowed to run for 20 minutes and the concentration of contaminants is measured before and after.
Keep in mind that higher ceilings, ventilation, and other factors affect CADR. This in turn may beckon you to look at purifiers with better coverage.
Value for Money
Getting the air purifier home is just half of the work. Since these machines run on electricity and require maintenance, the operation cost adds up.
Air purifiers can be bought on a budget, and still perform their function with excellence. While market price is the most obvious clue for a great budget find, also keep a check on its power consumption.
The other major source of expenditure is the filters or parts. Make sure you read replacement instructions before buying – some filters may need more frequent changes than others. Some can be washed easily with water, and some may need to be replaced entirely. Spare parts can also be priced from dirt cheap to extravagant – depending on the model you choose, of course.
Despite being a compact unit, the Pure Enrichment PureZone 3-in-1 has given us a lot to think about. Buy it, and both your health and wallet will thank you for giving this air purifier a shot.
True HEPA certification makes this a great option if you suffer from allergies and respiratory problems. Allergens and toxins thrive in all environments and they don’t discriminate. That’s why it is always safer to invest in an air purifier, despite having perfect health.
So easy to move around, and such a great appliance for small spaces – you can take the PureZone 3-in-1 to office, and bring it back to the bedroom after a long day. Of course, once the lights are out, you won’t hear a peep all night.
