Designed by Japanese architect studio FORM/Kouichi Kimura, ‘Scape House’ is a quadratic geometric composition in dark bold metallic hues presented on a hill side with beautiful views of a lake nearby. The entire home is, as tradition dictates, introverted, with a few narrow long windows providing the necessary natural light and a big degree of privacy for this home’s inhabitants.The play of volumes is reflected in the interior design line as well, with multiple changes of a surface’s geometry as well as tone and texture. These contrasting transitions is what makes this home dynamic and appealing on the inside and out at the same time.
