New solutions are being sought in order to keep up with the continuous change in living costs, population density, climate and increasing energy.Everyone looks to keep the costs to a minimum and to improve the environment and make everything sustainable and Eco-friendly.
This proposed project is based on a cubic shape volume which is been used in different positions on a vertical imaginary line, generating an interesting rhythm. The social housing is based on cubic apartments that measure 3m on sides. The used materials are all recycled:wood, plastic, glass, aluminum. All of the volumes are easy to assemble and replace, considering the requirements of the owners. The prefabricated module include all of the facilities build-in: toilets, kitchen, shower, furniture.
On the top part of the structure, additional modules have been added as wind mills in order to produce a part of the required energy.
Homesthetics Conclusion:
We must admit that the proposed solution is an interesting one, where shape, volume composition and rhythm is concerned. The night perspective is very appealing and beautifully lit throughout the petal shape windows. An edgy approach for a social programme.
