When it comes to bathroom interior design, people usually take into consideration the functional, practical side of a product. And although it is a powerful considerent, you should not be oblivious to the aesthetical aspect of that chosen product that becomes a part of you home and of yourself. Bathroom designs have come a long way in time and now offer you choices of products that express more than their primal purpose of offering you the precious mater water represents.
Style,sensuality,fluidity-a fusion of elements meant to inspire and to impress- The Graff Ametis Collection, a new stage in the evolution era of contemporary bathroom interior design.
Graff’s new AMETIS collection combines exquisite, fine materials-highly polished chrome with integrated sophisticated systems such as chromatherapy lighting and temperature changing led display. With features including rain head, body sprays or waterfall options, the Ametis Collection expresses in a sleek, yet simple, motionless product the embrace of the ocean.
The design itself is one fluid motion of polished chrome, generating curves that transform the futuristic faucet into a piece of art and elegance. The sculptural, architectural appeals in an unique way, different from the rigidity of other bathroom interior design equipments. For the creation of this amazing collection, Davide Oppizzi, the designer, went for an expression of the body and soul combined into one of a kind elements. The cycle of life was his inspiration and the result-contemporary bathroom design for the ones that appreciate quality, expressive products.
“Fluid and sensuous, AMETIS guides the water through the gentle curves of the faucet, providing a visual representation of the idea that life is a cycle”says Davide. The faucet will be available in three finishes – polished chrome or powder coated matte black and white and it features an electronic system with a colored ring which changes from red to blue and vice -versa depending on changes in the water temperatures.
The cost of the system: From $15,000 for the shower and from $1,500 for the faucet with LED opton. Kind of pricy, don’t you think? But is it worth it? The design speaks for himself. And the concept behind it can not be judged from the material aspect of the collection. And despite the price any of the pieces presented above can become the main accent in any contemporary interior design.
