The fascination for the weird world that surrounds us and for the place we have in this galaxy has touched many.
Such is the case of Leonid Tishkov, a Russian physician original from Moscow who got fascinated by,and this might seem strange, the wonders of the moon and had even changed career in order to make others see and understand his fascination as well. The change -a dramatic one. He became an avant-garde artist, a traveler around the world telling a story trough its art installation entitled ‘Private moon’.
His purpose-telling the story of ‘a man who met the moon and stayed with her forever’, says Tishkov.
the gallery below exhibits a series of photographs with sentimental value , picturing the artist along with his artificial Private Moon in diverse corners of the world like China, New Zealand, Taiwan, the Arctic, and France.
