Asphalt filler ropes are one of the most ingenious ways to fill driveway cracks as efficiently as possible. These are typically asphalt-based fillers that have been shaped into a rope. During application, you must insert the rope inside the crack and heat it with an outdoor propane torch to melt the filler in place.
If the cracks are too fine, you may want to widen them with an angle grinder so that the rope can fit in without much trouble. We recommend learning more about the types of cracks in concrete slabs and asphalt before you use these ropes for filling asphalt cracks.
