Even though the words sealant and filler might be used interchangeably when it comes to filling cracks on asphalt driveways, the products tend to differ in application. Crack fillers are usually designed for application over individual cracks to save them from further damage. In comparison, sealants work as a protective coating and must be applied over the whole driveway or pavement.
