Architect & Illustrator — Art Lead

Dylla Setyadji is an architect and illustrator based in Bali, Indonesia, and the Art Lead of Homesthetics, a role she has held since 2021. Everything drawn, painted, or designed for the publication passes through her hands — the custom graphics and illustrations across the site, and the artwork in its guides — in a style of delicate line and balanced pastel color that has become part of how Homesthetics looks.

Dylla studied architecture at Ngurah Rai University in Bali, adding technical and detail drawing to a practice she first built on her own — composition, color balance, and drawing discipline rounding out a self-taught foundation that runs from pastels, watercolor, and oils to a digital watercolor style entirely her own.

She also vets the art content itself. The painting tutorials on the Homesthetics YouTube channel are her real work at the easel, and the papers, pencils, brushes, and styluses reviewed on the site are tested by her before a word is written about them — judgment formed with the tools in hand, not from a spec sheet.
